Blanton Garden Tea

  • Sunday April 18th, 4:00PM

Gardens open at 4:00 PM, Tea seating at 5:00 PM

The 16th annual Blanton Garden Tea will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at the Blanton home and gardens in Appling as part of Celebrate Spring with Sacred Heart. The theme of this year’s tea is “A Proper Tea from a Country Farm.” Guests of this elegant tea will enjoy the rare treat of hearing hostess, Patty Pollard Blanton, speak about her inspiration to host one of the area’s most coveted events at her Appling home and garden. Patty’s reputation as a hostess and event planner garner regional attention with guests coming from as far away as Charleston and Atlanta. The Blanton Garden Tea was featured in the spring 2020 edition of Tea Time magazine. All seats are spoken for months in advance with dozens of hopefuls on a waiting list. Patty’s creative vision, delicious tea and treats, and attention to detail leave guests feeling like royalty and eager to reserve their spot for the following year’s event. The Blanton Garden Tea benefits the ongoing preservation of Sacred Heart Cultural Center and has raised more than $100,000 since its inception. Spots for the 2022 Blanton Garden Tea can be reserved by calling 706-826-4700.

Limited Seating. Reservations Required. Call 706-826-4700.
